At Luxury Smart Home Interiors, we are dedicated to transforming your living space into a home, incorporating smart home technology or manual hardware.
Our mission is to provide curated interior design including exquisite curtains, and blinds tailored to your unique taste and lifestyle.
Consultancy for Hard-wired options is also available for new builds.
On-line Consultation and In-home Consultation
Both consultancies cover anything from small to large projects. Your projects may be a single room, a pair of curtains, furnishing your home and accessories right through to a whole house and automated consultancy. In some cases, such as whole house or automated consultancy, it would be more appropriate to arrange an in-home consultation.

On-Line Consultancy
Designed for anyone who would prefer to source their own items, but with a little support to get started. This is particularly useful if you either have an idea you would like to develop yourself but not quite sure where to start, or if you are very clear about what you want and would like direction as to where to find the items you would like to use.
An initial 20 minute consultation to discuss what your needs are is free.
We will then take on board what you are looking for, ask for more relevant information and we can then arrange a further on-line meeting with you where we will go through options, layouts, mood boards and fabric samples etc. This will cost £250 and you will receive a full report of what we have discussed, any drawings and all samples you will need and a list of recommended suppliers where you can shop to buy the items.
Curtains/Soft Furnishings:
Should you be using the service for window treatments such as curtains, blinds, shutters etc, then we can carry out the whole project and we can use our time to discuss the best window treatment for your space(s), choice of hardware – poles or tracks, style you prefer and linings.
You will be sent a selection of samples appropriate to your project and once you have chosen your fabric(s), then we will send you clear details as to how to measure the space and we can guide you through that if needed.
Your curtains/blinds/cushions/throws will then be made and hand finished in our own workroom. One of our contract installers will contact you and the fitting date will be arranged between you.

In-Home Consultation
If you feel you would like a full service professional advice for a project that needs some objectivity and an experienced vision, perhaps you are updating your home, moving into a new house and maybe have a blank canvas or you are looking for a fresh new look, then an in-home consultation would be better for you.
The cost for this service is £600 and takes as long as needed on the day
We will walk through your property and you can share your thoughts. It gives us an opportunity to get to know you and to discuss each element or room and we will take measurements, photographs (with your permission), copy floor plans and leave with a good understanding of what you are looking for.
We will draw up layouts and mood boards, colour and fabric samples which will become our ‘base line’.
We manage the whole project for you, whilst keeping you up to date at every point and you are sent project status reports every week with timings clearly shown.
We can source and arrange every aspect of your project and in terms of fees, there are 2 different options. You can pay a daily rate and benefit from trade discounts, or you can pay a lower daily rate and pay full RRP price for your items.
We have accounts with a wide range of furniture, lighting, flooring (and many more) suppliers, as well as other trades such as carpenters etc.
During this consultation, it may also be appropriate to discuss manual or automated installations. (See dedicated section on automated installations.)

We will be source a selection of fabric and pole samples for you from our wide range of suppliers, do the measuring and make your items in our own workroom. Hardware will be sourced and we will take care of installation too.

Automated Home
Automated, or Smart Homes are becoming popular for modern living. Home automated curtains and lighting systems are designed to provide convenience, energy efficiency, and enhanced security which can be controlled remotely or with preset timers. A hardwired system can incorporate many tasks. Although it is beneficial to include an automated system at the time of a build, it is also possible to set up a system retrospectively.
Battery systems are also available and can be particularly useful in (for example) a roof blind that would otherwise need a pole to open and close.
We are one of the few interior design companies that have significant experience of both installing automated systems – as well as making the curtains or blinds and sourcing appropriate lighting.
Increasingly we are being asked to consult on both new builds and existing properties to advise on how best to install the necessary hardware by either working closely with site managers at the time of the build, or retrospectively. (NOTE – it is always easier to install at the time of the build if that is an option.)
Automation consultancy can be carried out as a stand-alone service, or as part of a wider home design.
